Home Plate

I got to go to Home Plate this weekend with some friends and family. If you don't know what that is, it is an event organized by Jeff Totten, the chaplain of the Detroit Tigers. Current and former Tigers players share their faith and how it impacts their career as a baseball player. This was my first time and it was very cool. Thank you God that it didn't rain!! Matt Hammitt of Sanctus Real was there. He sang two songs during Home Plate and sang the National Anthem. We lost, so that put a damper on things, although there were some really cool plays so we got to cheer a little :)
