That They Might Become Like Saul

I had a wacky thought the other day. Saul was the first terrorist of Christians - at least the first recorded. His goal was to find and imprison or kill as many followers of Christ as he could. Sound familiar? There are people in this century who have the same goal. But what happened to Saul ? God used him, once the Church's greatest foe, to take His Gospel to the Gentiles and all around the known world.

The second part of my wacky thought was this: what if we prayed for the leaders of the terrorist groups to become like Saul? God did it once, he can certainly do it again. 

Let's pray for the terrorists, especially their leaders, that they might become like Saul.
