Home Plate + Tigers Game

I got to go to Home Plate and the Tigers game on May 7th. It was a great event (not so much the game), but, I also got to see PUDGE RODRIGUEZ!!!!

Throughout the year, the Tigers are bringing back members of the 2006 World Series team and Pudge was there on the 7th! I was super excited because I have heard about him and seen videos, but by the time I started really paying attention, he was gone. It was really cool to see him in person!

Rodriguez was our catcher and he caught Justin Verlander in '06. In a role-reversal, Pudge stood on the mound and Verlander caught him as Rodriguez threw out the first pitch. Justin is the last remaining member of the 2006 team still on the Tigers.
