Rainland by Sarah Allerding // Get To Know Drip!
Rainland is a book my friend Sarah wrote. As part of a blog tour promoting her book, I agreed to do a character interview. Drip was my favorite character in Rainland and now you can get to know him a bit too! But first, you probably want to know a bit about the book, right?
Description of book:
When
Thomas gets caught in a summer storm, he is sucked into the world of
raindrops through a tornado. He learns he will not be allowed to return
until he can defeat the lightning, which has been hurling raindrops from
the clouds. Many adventures await him in this strange land. Is
everything just as the raindrops say it will be? Is it the lightning
they need to defend themselves against, or is there a much greater foe
behind the disturbing disappearances?
Drip has been waiting very patiently :) Let's get to know him a bit now.
What is your favorite thing to do?
I like making food! :)
What do you like best about making and serving food?
My favorite part is getting to sample a little of everything I make. I also like to see others enjoy my food.
How old are you?
I am one year old. It takes raindrops four years to grow up. According to Thomas, it takes a lot longer for a boy to grow up.
Who is your favorite person in Rainland?
My sister Rain. She always tries to help me when I am afraid.
What would a perfect day be like?
A
perfect day would be a day when we do not have to be afraid that the
lightning will attack. I do not like having to go downstairs and hide. I
want to play tag outside with all the other droplets.
What would the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner be?
The
best breakfast would be toast with jam, lunch would be tomato soup, and
the best dinner ever would be cucumber broccoli lasagna with fish
sauce! :)
Thank you so much for interviewing me. It was fun!
