Jim Price-isms
Jim Price is the color commentator for the Detroit Tigers radio broadcasts. He is so funny and has great quips that he always says.
- He put the buggywhip on it
- Batting thiirrdd and playing first base, the Big Man, Miguel Cabrera
- so and so's dobber is up/down (what's a dobber, Jim?)
- anything relating to how smart/talented/handsome catchers are (The other day, he said, "Catchers are the toughest guys around"and his broadcast partner said, "Really? I've never heard that before." Oh, I was laughing so hard!!)
- giving pitchers a "yellowhammer" pitch
- Nice area, great folks
- I heard his eyeballs click
He sure does say some funny things! One other thing he likes to say is, "painting the black," about a pitch.
