Top 10 Things You Need To Know For A Successful Friendship With Molly
Yesterday, as part of her present, I gave Molly a list as titled above. She said I could share it with you.
10. Smile - if your mouth is currently unfamiliar with this concept, don't worry. It won't be foreign for long.
9. Veggie Tales - when you hear a wacko song emitting from Molly's vicinity, it's probably a Silly Song. I recommend familiarizing yourself with these songs.
8. If the song Molly is singing is not a Silly Song, it is most likely from one of the following bands: Beatles, Switchfoot, Relient K, or Owl City. While it is probably impossible to learn all their songs, a basic knowledge should help you in most conversations.
7. Music - sharps, flats, chord progressions; all of these are musical terms that would come in handy should you try to follow a musical discussion (especially if it's between Molly & Chris).
6. Cedar Point - roller coasters, their names, and what they do are things you must know in order to talk to Molly in the summer months. Unless you don't mind being completely in the dark.
5. the Princess Bride - if you haven't seen this movie, either watch it quick or tell her that you have seen it. Pretty much any random phrase Molly says is from here. For a crash course in quotes, I recommend the song "Inconceivable" by Molly and me.
4. Science (especially physics) - you may feel like you're drowning if you discuss these topics unarmed, but if you ask, Molly can generally keep her conversation in English.
3. Family & friends - keep a notebook and pen handy. You'll need it to keep track of everyone Molly talks about. And keep your calendars hidden unless you want to know when her neighbor's cousin's birthday is.
