Exciting Sunday

So, yesterday morning, I looked outside and asked my dad " Did it rain last night?" He said no and asked "Why do you ask?"

"Well, because there is a large puddle of water at the bottom

of the driveway." We had a water-main break in our parkway!

Here are a bunch of photos from the repair. When I figure out how to post videos from my iPod app, I will.

Looking down in. They cut some cables (sticking straight up), but they were not important.

 So close. About half-way up the wall is the gas line.

Yuck! Gooey, cold mess.

This is the clamp they put around the pipe to stop the leak. The guys were very excited, as they said this is the easiest type of break to fix.

They threw the box the clamp came in down into the hole and covered it with dirt
