10 Reasons I Like Fall

Happy October!

Back in the spring, I challenged myself to come up with 10 things I like about that season (since I actually don't like it). I'm going to do the same thing with fall. I know I'm the minority, but I am a winter/summer girl. In reality, I'm a winter girl, but summer has baseball, so.....

Here we go: 10 THINGS I LIKE ABOUT FALL

1. PUMPKIN FOOD. Yes, I do like pumpkin spice and all that. (But I don't like pumpkin pie. I'm gonna blame that on texture). I make pumpkin cookies other times of the year, but fall is when you can get yummy pumpkin treats in stores.
2. HOT CHOCOLATE WEATHER. My favorite warm drink. This winter, I want to try some more fancy recipes. I was planning on that last winter, but it never happened.
3. CLOTHES. I basically wear short sleeves and skirts all year, but I have a few warm/cool weather specific clothes and I get excited to wear them again. And my boots. I love my boots.
4. CO-OP. My co-op starts in September. When I was younger, it was also the start of Pioneer Clubs and then when I was in middle school, the start of confirmation. 
5. COOLER WEATHER. I prefer to be cold to warm. I do not like to be hot and sweaty. So I do like the cooler weather, even though it's a hard adjustment. 
6. I HAVE A SCHEDULE AGAIN. I don't necessarily love school, but I do like having the schedule and structure that the school year brings. Plus, I don't hate school. I just do it. Summer is fun (I sometimes spent almost all day reading, not gonna lie), but I sometimes don't know what day it is because I have no schedule.
7. FALL IS THAT MUCH CLOSER TO WINTER. Fall gets me to winter, so that's good. 
8. CIDER DONUTS. Cinnamony goodness. Yum :)
9. CORN MAZE AND CAMPFIRE WITH MY CO-OP FRIENDS. We go to a corn maze as a co-op every fall and then go back to my grandparents' house for a campfire and fun.
10. THANKSGIVING. I don't think I even need to explain this one.

Whew! I made it. It makes me a little sad that it is so hard for me to come up with just ten things I like about fall. Me, the optimist, should be able to find ten reasons. Oh well. I did it. Those are 10 reasons I like fall.
