Baseball!!!!!!!!!!

Spring Training games start on Wednesday (YES!) but I thought I'd share with you some cool Tigers Trivia.

1. The Detroit Tigers began playing baseball in the American League in 1901.
2. Ever heard of Al Kaline? Well, he played ZERO games in the Minor Leagues and played 22 seasons with us.
3. The Tigers only won 4 World Series in the 20th century.
4. The home opener for the 2014 season is March 31st vs. the Royals.
5. The Tigers won their first World Series in 1935.
6. At least two Tigers played their entire careers as Tigers - Al Kaline and Bill Freehan.
7. If a batter hits for the cycle (single, double, triple, home run), the minimum number of bases he can get is 10.
