Confessions To A Stranger by Danielle Grandinetti // Release Post, Review, & Giveaway
I was introduced to Mrs. Grandinetti by winning a giveaway featuring
some of her books. As a part of the giveaway, I was subscribed to her
newsletter and that is how I ended up joining her launch team for
Confessions To A Stranger.
I think this book is even better than her Strike To The Heart series. The setting is enchanting (small towns on Lake Michigan are my favorite), the characters are really good (main AND secondary), and there is an intriguing mystery or two!
It's hard to decide if this is a plot driven book or a character driven book. Maybe 50/50. Both of our MCs face some hard choices and grow a lot, but the mysteries are also a part of that growth.
The ending was honestly a little confusing to me. I don't know if it was too much, too fast or what, but I ended up being confused as to some motives and why certain people were doing certain things. Adaleigh's particular plot ended rather abruptly, I felt. But while it may not have been the smoothest ending, it was very satisfactory.
Honestly, my favorite characters might be Mrs. Martins and Silas, for the wonderful wisdom they offer to our MCs at different times in the story. I really liked their love and care for our MCs.
I received a copy of this story from the author in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own and a favorable review was not required.
