Yesterday, they opened the newly redone highway to the public to
walk/bike/run etc. It was really cool to be able to bike on the highway.
Here are some pics of us down on the road.

There were thousands of people. People on unicycles, skateboards, stilts, single-wheeled segways, tall bikes. People laying in the road, drawing with chalk on the highway, babies toddling down the shoulder. We saw two of our pastors and their families and a boy from youth group. Two of our local high schools had their marching bands marching and playing. They were really good.
My cousin MacKenzie has this little push bike (it's a regular little girl bike without the pedals) and she was cruising down the road. She was so cute! Only one thing rained on our parade - rain. (Sorry, I had to :). It started raining really hard right at the end and we got wet and cold. But overall, it was a really cool experience.
